Personal Prayer
The Urban Retreat
Students spend at least 3 hours per week in The Urban Retreat. This specialised space is for personal time with God. It is an opportunity to escape from the demands of daily life, find rest in the Lord and tune into His presence. It is a prayer centre designed to encourage the many forms that prayer can take. The emphasis is on along time with God, believing that just as our Lord Jesus took time away from others to be with His Father, we should follow in His example.
Local Church
As well as being involved in the CML community and the wider London School of Theology community, students are also expected to be involved with a local church outside of CML. There are plenty of great churches in the local area, here is a link to some of the churches nearby:
