Leadership Intensives

What is a Leadership Intensive?

A leadership intensive is a concentrated week of teaching on a particular subject relating to one of the four taught modules of the course. The weeks are usually led by a distinguished visiting lecturer with a particular expertise in a given field. These intensive teaching weeks are an essential part of the course for full time students, but part time students are encouraged to attend these weeks as their time allows. These weeks are also open to members of the public and to the full-time students at the Northwood campus of the London School of Theology.

Examples of previous Leadership Intensives

There have been two leadership intensive courses in the academic year 10/11. In the first semester, the week was led by Rev Dr Mark Stibbe on "Experiencing the Father Heart of God". In the second semester, the week was led by Dr Martin Sanders on "Transformational Leadership". These intensive courses are extremely popular with the students and are well attended by members of the public. For the coming Autumn term we are hoping to have Dr Lance Wallnau (pictured above) come and share once again. During his last visit he shared vision on the Seven Mountains.

How much do these cost?

The leadership intensive courses are free to full-time students. For all other people attending (including part time students on days that they are not normally in college) the cost differs per event but is usually around £20 per day or £60 for the whole week.

These are open to all

It is great to have other members of the Christian community to come to the Centre for Missional Leadership for the intensive teaching weeks. Do see the events page for more information about the next week of teaching.
