LST has two fantastic campuses:
The main Northwood LST site offers 5 acres of lovely grounds to relax in, together with leisure facilities and a newly refurbished student centre.
We also have an urban high street based modern facility, which is home to LST’s Centre for Missional Leadership in Watford.
Across the two campuses you can enjoy:
Wednesday afternoons are set aside for sports activities for those who are interested. You can join the LST football team playing together and against other Bible Colleges. There are two tennis courts and a pitch that can be used for football, hockey, rugby or volleyball. Our indoor facilities enable you to play table tennis, pool, air hockey or use gym equipment to try and keep fit.
There are also easily accessible local squash and badminton courts, golf and sailing facilities and swimming pools.
Telephone extensions and network points are installed in all rooms and each student receives their own LST account. There are Internet access points in the library and classrooms and wireless Internet access is available in our library and student centre.
There are also public computer terminals for use in the Northwood campus and a Mac lab at the Watford campus for students to use during college hours.
LST has an intranet where you can post and share information, both formal and informal. The intranet is accessible whether on or off site and acts as a useful tool for the whole community.
Our IT team can provide advice on computer equipment as well as identifying special deals.
Music plays an important role at LST, not just for those studying Music & Worship. There are five practice rooms, two grand pianos, acoustic pianos, keyboards, guitars, drum kits, recording and sequencing facilities and music notation work stations. There is also a growing library of Music & Worship materials including sheet music and CDs.
LST students living on the Northwood site have meals provided three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner), seven days a week by our dedicated kitchen team. We cater for special dietary requirements and seek to provide healthy, delicious food.
CML students have access to an upper room prayer centre in the Watford campus where they gather together every morning before lectures begin. It is also available during the day for prayer and worship, as well as regular events. Across the road from the Watford campus is our Urban Retreat where students are expected to spend 3 hours a week. This is an excellent town centre facility, well-equipped for encouraging personal prayer.
