Is the Truth Out There? Creatures, Cosmos and New Creation


This lecture examined some of the implications of modern scientific cosmology for Christian faith — in particular the issues of the age and size of the universe and of possibility of there being intelligent life elsewhere in the universe.

Asking whether the findings of modern cosmology in these areas threaten the truth of the Christian faith and also explore their implications for the doctrine of creation, for the doctrine of the Fall and for eschatology.

 

New Light from Old Truths: Lessons for Today from Bernard of Clairvaux on the Cross

This lecture drew out the lessons to be learned from this study, especially with reference to contemporary debates.
