Can’t leave your job or other commitments but you would like to seriously study theology?
Join the London School of Theology (LST) master’s students and take a 20 credit intensive module in The Holy Spirit In Action: New Testament Voices.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
This course explores the exciting material in the New Testament about the Holy Spirit’s identity and work, concentrating on the writings of Luke and Paul. You will first study what they wrote about who the Spirit is, before going on to get to grips with their teaching about the Spirit’s roles in such matters as evangelistic mission, ethical holiness, and Christian suffering: all vitally important for Christian living today.
ACCESS
To study at postgraduate level, you should normally have a completed degree at undergraduate level. Some previous reading or studies of the New Testament would be an asset, but is not a requirement.
HOW YOU WILL LEARN
• Six - eight weeks of scheduled reading and exercises.
• One week of intensive study, featuring lectures, seminars, discussion and debates.
• One final marked essay (assessed option only – additional fee applies).
POTENTIAL TO EARN CREDIT
All students completing the The Holy Spirit In Action: New Testament Voices intensive will receive a LST certificate.
Those who choose to complete all the required assessments (at an additional fee of £300) will receive a transcript of their studies, which they may be able to transfer to future programmes either at LST or other institutions.
