I’m excited to be part of a vibrant, stimulating, caring community at LST.
Our calling under God is to equip men and women to share the Good News of Jesus Christ lovingly, effectively and faithfully through churches, mission agencies, in schools and colleges and in the many contexts of business and professional life.
Such a calling requires that worship of the triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit is at the heart of all we do, together with a passion for the Bible and a commitment to its authority in our lives and scholarship.
An integral part of studying theology at LST is a practical ministry placement. All theology in the evangelical tradition is applied theology. We should always ask: what are the practical implications of our study of texts, doctrine and ideas?
I believe that high quality theological education is more needed today than ever before. The world needs thoroughly trained men and women who can bring their professional gifts into Christian perspective, and engage as ambassadors of Christ to be agents of transformation in his name.
