Watford Junction

LST is about five miles from Watford Junction station, which is on the West Coast main line from Birmingham, Manchester, the North West and Scotland. From Watford Junction it is easiest to take a taxi, although you can try the n umber 8 bus towards Mount Vernon Hospital, which runs every half hour during the day (the bus calls in to the station at morning peak times, otherwise you can catch it on St Albans Road – turn right out of the station and walk to the traffic lights at the end of Station Road, and then turn left to reach the first bus stop). The journey takes about 30 minutes and the return fare is around £5. Get off the bus at the second stop after Northwood shops and you will see the entrance to LST on the other side of the road. Do not try to find Watford tube station unless you want a long walk – it is about a mile from Watford Junction!
