ADRIAN SMITH

Adrian became a Christian in his late teens in his hometown of Bournemouth. He initially went to Bible College to develop his understanding of his faith so that he could relate it more appropriately to those outside the church. He has been involved in church leadership for over twenty years, most recently as minister and team leader in a Baptist Church in East Yorkshire.

As an educationalist, Adrian has been involved in the formal training and education of adults involved in teaching and learning. He is currently engaged in doctoral level study into theological education. Joining LST in September 2007, he comes from teaching theology and ministry to youth work and ministry students. Married to Sue, who works for the NHS, they share a love of being parents to their four children, walking and mountain biking and standing on the terraces supporting AFC Bournemouth – well Adrian that is!
