Chris joined the faculty in September 1997, but he is no stranger to London School of Theology, having gained his MA here in 1986. A graduate in Modern Languages, Chris holds a first class honours BD from London, and is currently undertaking PhD studies at Cambridge. For seven years he was Principal of Romsey House Theological Training College in Cambridge and has a wealth of experience in pastoral ministry. He previously worked in France with the European Christian Mission and currently serves on its British and International Boards of Trustees. Both as a chaplain and in the classroom Chris has a heart particularly for issues of pastoral care, spiritual development and worship. He is married to Babs, and they have two grown-up children. His loves include France, football and opera.
