Visiting Lecturer and Counselling Tutor

Irene originally trained as a nurse and a midwife and worked in the NHS for 20 years, predominantly in Midwifery Service Management with latter responsibility for Organisational Development and Strategic Change. During this time she gained a Masters Degree in Health Management.

In 2002 Irene came to study at LST and subsequently graduated with a BA Honours in Theology & Counselling. In addition to tutoring at LST, she now has a small private homebased counselling practice and is a counselling supervisor. Irene is the Modular Counselling Certificate Course Leader at Waverly Abbey (CWR).
