Lecturer in Counselling

Heather is employed by CWR as Head of Counselling Training and is seconded to LST as a second-year tutor and lecturer on the Theology & Counselling course. She has many years of experience as both a counsellor and supervisor and is senior accredited with BACP as a counsellor/psychotherapist. She also has ACC accreditation as a counsellor and supervisor.  In her private practice she specialises in counselling adults who have been abused in childhood.

Heather describes herself as passionate about integrating theology and counselling. She and her husband Ian have two grown-up children and three grandchildren and are involved in leadership at their local church.
