GODSPELL

LST is proud to present a major production of the musical GODSPELL in The Chapel on campus - featuring an all-star student cast.

 

This production is professionally produced and choreographed. Director and Producer Paul Knight has wide experience as actor, musician and director in a number of shows including productions in the West End at the Fortune, Jermyn Street and Albery Theatres. Michael Rouse is the Choreographer for our production and his theatre credits include playing Legolas in the Lord of the Rings at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and Gus in Saturday Night Fever at the Palladium. He has recorded 5 original cast albums.

 

GODSPELL is one of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time. It was conceived and originally directed by John Michael Tebelak, with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, composer also of the musical Wicked. Songs from GODSPELL include the international hit Day by Day.

 

The musical draws together various theatrical traditions including clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics and vaudeville and is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus. Tickets are £12.50 each with a special offer of group bookings of 10 people or more for £10 each.

Children (under 12s) groups of 10 or more are only £5 for the 3pm Saturday 24th matinee show!

Please encourage family, friends and those in your church to come to the show. It’s a great opportunity to invite those who are on the fringe of church. Performances are every evening at 8.00 pm with a matinee performance at 3.00pm on Saturday.

 

On Saturday it will be possible to book a two course pre-show dinner for an additional £15.00 which includes a reserved seat for the 8.00 pm performance.
