Laing Lecture 2010

LST is delighted to welcome Professor Alister McGrath, Head of the Centre for Theology, Religion and Culture at King's College, London as the 2010 Laing Lecturer.

His title for the lecture will be 'The Lord is my Light: In defence of a discipleship of the mind'. Professor McGrath explains, 'This lecture will be a passionate defence of the life of the mind in Christian discipleship, and of the need for Christians to be involved in cultural debates.'

The annual Laing Lecture 2010 is being held on Tuesday 23 February. Professor McGrath will address students and staff during the afternoon and a public, popular lecture will be given at Emmanuel Church, Northwood at 7.45pm. The evening is free and open to all. This is a ticket-less event and no booking is required.
